Long before the firm, Nigella built her own clothing brand from the ground up, learning firsthand what it takes to design a product, shape a voice, and grow something from nothing. Business has always been her language. The corporate years followed: sales and financial services roles at JP Morgan, Northwest Financial Advisors, and State Farm — work built around numbers, risk, and the long view of what makes a business last.
That chapter ended. What followed wasn't a plan. It was a single conversation with a restaurant owner who needed help making sense of the business behind the dining room. One conversation became another. A first client became a second. Every engagement since has arrived the same way. Owners speaking to other owners, passing along the name of someone who listened, asked the right questions, and treated the work with care.
Today, Nigella leads the vision, strategy, and direction of the team — overseeing every client engagement from discovery through execution. Her approach is grounded in one belief: that great marketing is not just creative, it is strategic. It is built on data, shaped by research, and tailored to the specific business in front of you. She brings the discipline of finance, the instincts of an entrepreneur, and the perspective of someone who has sat in the same seat her clients sit in.
She built Starn because she believed hospitality operators deserved more than an agency. They deserved a partner — one that thinks like an owner, works from the back end to the front end, and treats every business like it has their name on it.

Reynald brings more than two decades of leadership across management, operations, logistics, and manufacturing — a career grounded in the systems that keep complex businesses running. Before his service in the United States Navy, he spent years as an operations and logistics manager at a manufacturing company in Los Angeles, where he learned the discipline of running a business where every minute, every margin, and every moving part counts. As a culinary specialist in the Navy, he cooked for and served senior officers and senior officials in government — work that taught him hospitality at its highest level is built on discipline, precision, and presence.
At Starn Strategies, he leads operations consulting and event planning, drawing on a rare combination of culinary craft and operational rigor. He is also the face of the agency in new conversations

Jonel Enad
Lead Campaign Strategist
Great marketing does not start with content. It starts with understanding. Jonel brings more than a decade of digital marketing experience to Starn Strategies — working alongside the founder to shape campaign direction, drive client strategy, and determine the right approach for every business we partner with.
His work spans the full campaign lifecycle. From the data and research that inform the direction, to the paid media, search strategy, communications, and visual storytelling that bring it to life. No two clients receive the same strategy. Jonel makes sure of that.
Before digital, he spent years leading sales outreach and customer service for major corporate brands in the call center industry work that gave him something most strategists don't have: a direct, unfiltered understanding of how real people actually respond to a message, a pitch, and a brand that shows up with intention. That instinct lives in everything he builds. He approaches every campaign with both sides in mind — the strategy that earns attention, and the human insight that turns it into action.

Her background runs across call centers, sales, and digital marketing, giving her a rare instinct for how real people respond to a message, a moment, or a post that lands.
Her work spans content strategy, brand voice, campaign ideas, and the day-to-day rhythm of building a presence that feels alive rather than scheduled. From Instagram grids and Reels to TikTok content, story-led campaigns, and the small daily decisions that build a loyal following over time — she treats every channel as part of one coherent voice, not a checklist of platforms.

With a marketing degree and a founder's eye, she works at the intersection of strategy and craft, building brands that earn attention through consistency, care, and an unmistakable point of view.
Her perspective is shaped by experience few marketers have: she built her own beauty brand from the ground up, owning every decision from naming and identity to packaging, voice, and the editorial language that gave the brand its world. That experience taught her what hospitality operators already know — that a brand is the sum of a thousand small choices, and the ones nobody else notices are usually the ones that matter most.

Luis leads technology and operational delivery at Starn Strategies — building the websites and apps that bring our clients online, and supporting the on-the-ground execution that brings their events to life. His work covers everything from custom site builds and digital tools to the production side of activations, openings, and private events alongside Reynald.
His background runs deeper than most digital builds. Before joining the firm, he led teams in the construction industry, managing complex projects in the field where timelines, trades, and details all had to align. That experience shapes how he approaches every project at Starn — with the discipline of someone who knows that a website, like a building, is only as good as the structure beneath it.
He believes the best technology disappears into the experience. A site that loads quickly, an app that does what it promises, an event that runs on time — these are the marks of work done right, regardless of the medium.
